I started this blog...

as a way of compiling all my families favorite recipes all together in one place.
My daughter asked me if I would write down a certain something I make so
she has it when she grows up and has a family. I thought that was a good idea,
so I decided to combine all our favorites and make one big book. It will be a
work in progress and a way for me to ORGANIZE all the recipes stashed in
the cupboard. And I've realized, I like taking pictures of food!

Orange Salmon

The rich buttery taste mixed with the orange flavor is marvelous!
4-6 pieces of salmon
4-6 t. butter
salt
pepper
garlic powder
1 orange

Spray a 9x13 baking pan with cooking spray. Place salmon in pan and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Place 1 t. butter on each piece of salmon. Cut orange in half and squeeze juice on top of salmon. Scrape the remaining pulp out of the orange and divide among salmon pieces. Sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
