I started this blog...

as a way of compiling all my families favorite recipes all together in one place.
My daughter asked me if I would write down a certain something I make so
she has it when she grows up and has a family. I thought that was a good idea,
so I decided to combine all our favorites and make one big book. It will be a
work in progress and a way for me to ORGANIZE all the recipes stashed in
the cupboard. And I've realized, I like taking pictures of food!

3 Packet Crock Pot Roast

1 beef roast
1 packet Ranch dressing
1 packet brown gravy
1 packet zesty Italian dressing
1/2 c. very warm water

Place roast in crock pot. In a bowl combine dry seasoning packets together. Sprinkle over roast, then add water. Cook for 6-7 hours.
For the gravy, just pour liquid from crock pot into pan and bring to a boil. Thicken with flour and a little water or cornstarch and water. Serve with buttered noodles or mashed potatoes.
