I started this blog...

as a way of compiling all my families favorite recipes all together in one place.
My daughter asked me if I would write down a certain something I make so
she has it when she grows up and has a family. I thought that was a good idea,
so I decided to combine all our favorites and make one big book. It will be a
work in progress and a way for me to ORGANIZE all the recipes stashed in
the cupboard. And I've realized, I like taking pictures of food!

Hungry Jack Casserole

1 1/2 c. cooked chicken seasoned with seasoning salt, cubed or shredded
2 cans jumbo baking powder biscuits(12 biscuits)
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. milk
1/4 t. onion powder
1/4 t. celery salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen California blend vegetables (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower), thawed

Boil veggies in a little water in saucepan for 10 minutes. Drain. Add chicken, soup milk, and seasonings. Mix well. Pour mixture in casserole dish. Place unbaked biscuits on top.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
